Background
Dr. Brigham has an enviable reputation, and we chose a restrained, un-ornamented design. As a result, this website became an example of our long-held motto: “Good design is about communication, not ornamentation.” This aesthetic often is appreciated by academics and some professionals, though it is deceptively challenging to do well.
During development, we kept in mind the “brand” of his medical practice and the mindset of his primary audience: other doctors, attorneys, and claims professionals.
What we did for this doctor’s website:
- Create an easy-to-read, non-nonsense page design.
- Respectfully edit text content for usage, style, and organization.
- Retouch the client’s professional head shot.
- Make logotype artwork for the banner, also suitable for the corporate identity package (stationery, etc.).
Since the successful conclusion of this project, we have been invited to develop several other web properties operated by Dr. Brigham. Mahalo!
